9 Signs Spring Has Officially Arrived (According to Your Kids)
Spring doesn't wait for the calendar. It shows up the second your kid spots a puddle and makes a beeline for it in their socks.
Here are 9 signs the season has officially taken over... whether you're ready or not.
1. The Jacket Negotiation Begins
Every. Single. Morning.
"It's warm enough." (It is 48 degrees.)
You've entered the great spring standoff: you say layers, they say no. Nobody wins. Everybody goes outside anyway.
2. Shoes Are Now Optional

The grass is barely thawed and somehow bare feet are back on the table. You'll find one shoe by the back door and the other one... somewhere. Probably the yard.
3. Every Stick Is a Sword, a Wand, or a Very Important Artifact
Spring hands every kid a prop and a mission. Don't question the stick. Just let them carry it home.
4. Dinner Is Now "Outside or Nothing"

The patio furniture has been dragged out. The paper plates are back. And honestly? Everything tastes better when there's a 30% chance of a bug landing in it.
5. Mud Is a Personality
It's not dirt. It's a creative medium. A sensory experience. A rite of passage.
(It's also in the car now. And somehow on the ceiling.)
6. The Bike (Or Skateboard) Has Been Rediscovered

Dusted off, pumped up, and immediately ridden directly into the garage door. Spring is here.
7. Bedtime Got Complicated
"But it's still light outside."
They're not wrong. And you don't have a good answer. Welcome to daylight saving time parenting — the season's most humbling challenge.
8. Every Puddle Is a Destination
Not an obstacle. Not something to walk around. A destination, with intent, at full speed.
Pack accordingly.
9. The Backyard Is Now a Full-Time Habitat

They went outside after breakfast. It is now 4pm. You have delivered two snacks through the back door and received zero updates. This is fine...
Our Spring '26 Collection was made for all of it. The puddles, the sticks, the spontaneous backyard adventures, and yes, the very strong opinions.
